It is always better and always possible to pick up new photography tips regularly, explore existing and new techniques, and enhance your skill to conceptualize, make and capture photos. The trick is to know where to find good photography tips. If you are like me and love to read, then you will probably have already been on some of the more advanced photography blogs, forums, and photo and image galleries on the Internet. They are a great place to get some really good ideas and new concepts in photography.
Another way to get some new and innovative photography tips is to take some time out of your busy schedule and go down to your local community or college campus to talk with some of the students and some of the professors who teach there. I’ve done this many times both in person and online. What I like about visiting with actual people is that you get the chance to talk with them in real life, hear their voice, see their expressions, touch them, hear their questions, and get answers that you might not get from just reading about a topic on some photography website or forum. The fact is, there is no substitute for actually talking with someone who has actually used and/or taken photos using their particular camera, as it will give you a much better idea about the capabilities and limitations of your own camera and how you can utilize its features to make the best photos.
Above all, though, please do remember that having great photography tips is only part of the picture-taking experience. You must also learn to have fun with your pictures, enjoy being creative with your photography, and know how to take the best photos you possibly can. And remember, above all else, don’t stress over every little detail; relax and enjoy the process!
